Job Title: Welders/Boilermen
Location: Auckland, Waikato and Christchurch
Position: Full time 30 hours + per week guaranteed, likely to work 40-50 hours per week
Wage Rate: $30 - $35 starting rate, pay rise reviews will apply, once NZ work experience is obtained
Start Date: 2025 and 2026
Closing Date: Ongoing
You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance, upkeep, and operation of boilers or other units. You will be required to have welding skills to work with metal parts in a variety of applications.
Experience
Servicing and repair of heavy equipment.
Supporting field crews with urgent repairs and maintenance needs.
Fabrication and Assembly.
Working independently and part of a team.
Gain experience in sectors of quarrying, mining, recycling, and material handling equipment.
Qualifications
Trade qualification in Boiler Making and Welding or relevant work experience.
Welder Fabricator Experience - Steel, MIG (GMAW), stick/arc (SMAW).
Strong capability of interpreting technical drawings and a commitment to quality.
Sound knowledge of fault finding and repairs to plant equipment.
