As a pharmacist in New Zealand, you will become part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, counselling patients, and ensuring the safe use of medicines. You will also work closely with GPs and hospital staff to support treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Whether you’re based in a hospital, community pharmacy, or urgent care setting, your role will be central to the delivery of expert pharmaceutical care.
Experience & Requirements
An overseas qualification assessed by the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (PCNZ)
Registered with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand
If applying for the first time, you must meet all registration requirements under the HPCA Act 2003
You may be eligible under the Recognised Equivalent Qualifications Route (REQR)
You must pass the CAOP exam and provide documentation such as registration certificates, criminal background checks, and work history
