Which event should you attend?
Seminars are run in London, Birmingham, Manchester & Bristol in March/April, September and November. At these sessions you'll meet Kiwi experts face-to-face, and hear about what life in New Zealand is really like, including aspects such as cost of living, the education and healthcare systems, employment opportunities and how to obtain a visa.
The Seminars are supported by those whose core business is to assist skilled migrants to get to New Zealand - including assisting with banking, money transfer, migration insurance and furniture relocation. The Seminars give you the opportunity to ask questions directly, and speak to the experts in an intimate setting where there are no queues. You will also meet others that wish to obtain a new lifestyle.
This is also an opportunity to provide your CV, evidence of qualifications, evidence of work experience and other documents to New Zealand Skills in Demand for current jobs in New Zealand.
It is an essential first step on your New Zealand journey and worthwhile making the trip to a Seminar location.
Webinars are designed for those that can't attend a Seminar. They are run by Borey Chum, MD of Migration Associates speaking from New Zealand, and Rachel Beattie from NZ Skills In Demand from the UK.
The Webinars give you a chance to explore what it's like to live and work in New Zealand from the comfort of your own home! The sessions focusing on lifestyle, cost of living, employment opportunities and how to obtain a NZ visa.
During the session there will be live chat giving you the opportunity to ask the experts any burning questions you may have.
After the session you will be sent documents such as a NZ CV template and links that will be referenced within the session, which will help you towards your goal towards living and working in New Zealand.
We do recommend that if possible you follow up the Webinars with a Seminar session so you can meet the experts face-to-face and hear more in-depth information.
