2021 Resident Visa – Lodgement and Processing Updates
Immigration New Zealand have just announced that from 21 February 2022, those who have a Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) expression of interest (EOI) in the pool, submitted on or before 29 September 2021, can apply for the 2021 Resident Visa, this amounts to approximately 10,500 people.

Immigration New Zealand can now open applications for groups of up to 1,500 people each day. This will be based on the dates EOI’s were lodged. Immigration New Zealand and will start with the first group on 21 February, which are EOI’s submitted before 30th April.
Immigration New Zealand will email applicants directly to advise of lodgement dates.
