Getting There
Huka Falls is conveniently located near Taupō, around a 3.5-hour drive from Auckland or a 1.5-hour drive from Rotorua. The falls are easily accessible via the Huka Falls Walkway, a popular 1-hour track that leads to the viewing platforms. The walk is relatively flat and well-maintained, suitable for visitors of all ages. If you don’t have your own vehicle, guided tours from Taupō or Rotorua are available, offering transport and insights into the history and significance of the falls.
