Teach Early Childhood in New Zealand!

This Organisation of ECE centres is a registered charity owned by a family foundation. They have nurseries, preschools, kindergarten (Kindy), Montessori and childcare services nationwide. Through play-based learning, they build essential skills and prepare children for a successful transition to primary school with their "Set for School" framework. 
 

The Role

This role is full time (40 hours per week), for Early Childhood Education Teachers, teaching children under 5 years of age. Responsibilities include fostering holistic child development, implementing curriculum effectively, and maintaining open communication with families. This role offers:

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Teaching Early Childhood Education (or Level 7 equivalent). For your qualification to be recognised in NZ, they will need to be assessed by NZQA. As an overseas trained teacher, you will need to have an early childhood outcome from NZQA. Additionally, the applicant will require registration and certification with the New Zealand Teaching Council. 

The centre promotes a kind, respectful and collaborative approach to early learning and is looking for teachers who promote a play-based programme focused on children’s individual needs and interests.
