Job Description
An HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. In New Zealand, HVAC Engineers ensure systems meet energy efficiency standards and comply with local building codes. They may be involved in project planning, system diagnostics, performance testing, and commissioning.
Requirements
At least 3 years full-time experience
A relative trade qualification, with appropriate licensing
Installation, diagnostic and maintenance experience.
